Newborn Portraits

Those first weeks are the some of the sweetest and yet they fly by in a blur. Your child will never be this tiny again. Those little newborn fingers and toes and adorable lips that quiver into a smile are so touching. Capture it with Joanna Niven Photography! 

A newborn photography session will occur in the studio located in Lake Mills. This session is unique as it is very relaxed, working around your baby's needs and comfort. The focus of the session is on capturing the uniqueness of your newborn and the loving bond of family.  Joanna takes her time to create a soothing scene for your newborn. From a warm space to white noise and gentle touch for positioning, your baby's comfort and safety always comes first.  A selection of wraps, newborn clothing, headbands and props are available for use during your session.

Newborn Session Fee: $400 + tax
This includes the time and talent, consultation, and the editing process. A minimum of 50 high-resolution, finely edited proofs for purchase will be created. A newborn session includes up to 3 hours of time and can include family portraits, sibling portraits and individual newborn portraits. All props, wraps, newborn clothing and headbands are included in the session fee. The newborn portraits will focus on the beauty of your baby.

Newborn portrait images will be presented in an online gallery.  Digital downloads, prints, albums and speciality items are available for purchase at your convenience.

Lifestyle Session Fee: $300 + tax

A lifestyle newborn session is set in your home environment and will focus on the family connection including your newborn. The lifestyle session focuses on natural newborn poses, rather than posed portraits. The session includes 1 hour of time.

Bump to Baby Package Fee: $550 + tax

The Bump to Baby Package includes both the maternity portrait session and the newborn portrait session. Two different dates with two separate gallery of images.
