Senior Portraits
High School Seniors are so full of life, have fabulous style and are inspiring. Joanna Niven Photography captures the unique beauty of each senior, along with how much they have to offer the world! Joanna is excited to be a part of your journey and create beautiful portraits for you to cherish for a lifetime.
Senior Portrait Fee- $350 +tax
The session fee includes, time, talent and the editing process of images. Prints, digital files, albums and other products are purchased separately.
The Consultation
Just as every senior is unique, every portrait session is unique! The consultation meeting is held at the studio in downtown Lake Mills. This is a relaxed time for Joanna to get to know the senior while discussing locations, clothing, photo ideas and overall vision. Your portrait session date will be selected at this time as well. Feel free to bring your parents or a close friend.
The Portrait Session
Your portrait session is time to relax, have fun and let Joanna do all the work! Joanna will be searching out the perfect spots for the best natural light in the selected locations and guiding you through poses or natural actions. Sessions typically last around 1.5 - 2 hours. Friends, siblings and/or parents are welcome to cheer you on and help with any hair or clothing details. It’s best to bring someone that keeps you smiling and encourages you.
The Reveal Session
Approximately two weeks after your portrait session, you’ll return to the studio to view your portraits. A slideshow of your images set to music will be presented. This is a time when you’ll want to include anyone who will want to be part of making decisions about purchasing your photos. Print, album or other speciality products can be ordered at this time, along with digital files.
